ABOUT COACH SHERRY

In addition to being the mom of two figure skaters, Coach Sherry is also a skating coach, a playschool teacher, a former day home owner, and a still-skating-just-for-fun figure skater.

Before having children, Coach Sherry taught adult skaters - which she still enjoys to this day! She also worked in public relations and communications, working closely with executives and boards of directors. 

After having children, Coach Sherry realized that she could put the two things she loved most together - skating and kids! She teaches group lessons at various facilities in Calgary, and has taken CanSkate/NCCP training through Skate Canada. She's also participated in a number of powerskating clinics to learn more about sport specific skating for both figure skating and hockey/ringette.

Coach Sherry is First Aid & CPR certified, and has up-to-date police clearance, including vulnerable sector clearance.
