As we head into the 2026/27 season, I'm excited to share that I've accepted a full-time position with an amazing firm. I am loving my work ... but it does mean I’ll have a lot less time for skating, and will not be taking skaters this season.
Teaching skating has brought me endless joy and pride the last 15 years. It's been my everything. So this is definitely bittersweet. I’m so grateful for all the memories, lessons, and amazing people skating has brought into my life.

Coach Sherry can teach you and your family - adults & children - beginner to advanced skating skills. From how to stand up and march across the ice, to pushing and gliding, stopping and turning, backwards skating, cross-overs, and even figure skating. All while maintaining a fun, safe atmosphere for learning!
Coach Sherry can also teach young hockey & ringette stars power skating; how to master their blades and learn edge control vital to their game.

Private skating lessons are designed specifically for your skater, ensuring success based on their progress. Private lessons allow the skater and coach to work together and make the most of each session on the ice. By focusing on skills as they are mastered and advancing as the skater develops, private lessons result in faster skill development than traditional group lessons.
Coach Sherry teaches group skating lessons at a number of communities and facilities in Calgary, including adult learn-to-skate, parent & tot, intro to figure, and all other skating programs.
